Forests
I grew up in one of north Queensland’s tropical rainforests, so when I explore these areas’ they feel like home. Australian forests are some of the oldest in the world and due to our climate are some of the most diverse and rare environments.
Islands
An island country surrounded by islands. There is no shortage of beauty to be found in these areas.
Country
In such a huge continent there is wide variations in landform and climate. From the forests of the Great Divide to the treeless, sun-baked plains of the inland, there are vast differences and contrasting aspects. It has a unique and haunting beauty that exerts a powerful fascination found nowhere else in the world.
Comparatively, only small areas of Australia are occupied by cities. These areas are enhanced by their backgrounds of forest, river or ocean making for some stunning vistas.
City
Wildlife
With a range of unique and diverse animals to choose from as subjects, I am often distracted from the landscapes which I am focused on. The wildlife found here, can provoke a sense of wonder from those unfamiliar with them, something which I admittedly tend to forget.
Sky
I always appreciate the fact that every time I look up, the sky is always different and unique, and I wont ever see another like it.
